Manufactured from a specially developed blend of FSC-certified natural materials, Recap is a high-performance alternative to conventional plastic end caps. It provides the durability and structural strength required to protect rolled products during storage, handling, and transportation while being 100% plastic-free, recyclable, and compostable.
Compatible with standard 2", 3", and 4" postal tubes, Recap integrates seamlessly into existing packaging operations without requiring any equipment changes. Available from July 2026, it offers businesses an easy transition to a more sustainable packaging solution without compromising performance.
Why Was It Developed?
Postal tubes are a go-to choice for shipping posters, artwork, architectural plans, maps, promotional materials, and other rolled documents. While cardboard postal and mailing tubes have long been widely recyclable, plastic end caps have historically limited the ability of the overall packaging to be fully recyclable.
We set out to change that. Following extensive product development and material testing, we created a formulation that meets the performance demands of real-world logistics while eliminating plastic entirely, without compromising on strength, reliability, or performance. The result is a practical solution that helps businesses reduce plastic packaging and prepare for evolving packaging legislation, including PPWR requirements.
