As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for opening new doors, identifying opportunities, and converting insights into meaningful commercial impact. You will drive new business across selected target markets, representing the full Ryleon offering and working across the company to bring integrated solutions to customers.

Your work will directly shape how Ryleon grows - which customers we partner with and how we scale our presence as a leading European company.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development (Primary Focus)

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in defined target markets

  • Develop and execute market entry plans aligned with company priorities

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive lead generation

  • Drive opportunities from first contact through to conversion

Cross-Portfolio Sales & Solution Selling

  • Represent the full Ryleon portfolio to customers

  • Identify and drive cross-selling opportunities across the company

  • Develop and present integrated, customer-specific solutions

  • Act as a commercial bridge between customers and internal experts

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts

  • Understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions or services

  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience

Sales Execution & Negotiation

  • Present proposals, business cases and tailored solution to potential customers

  • Lead commercial negotiations to secure commercially favourable outcomes

  • Support pricing and commercial decision-making

Team Leadership

  • Manage and support a small business development team

  • Develop team capabilities, particularly within cross-selling and solution selling

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams across the company to deliver solutions

  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead generation

  • Provide market insights to support product and commercial development

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and monitor KPIs to measure performance against defined targets

  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports

  • Contribute to the development of the broader sales model and strategic planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales and business development

  • Strong track record of generating new business

  • Experience selling complex or multi-product solutions is an advantage

  • Ability to lead an enthusiastic and international sales team

  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines

  • Experience working across markets or in international environments is a plus
